Energy Watch Group

Organization

The Energy Watch Group is organized as an international network of scientists and parliamentarians. The institution is the Ludwig Bölkow Foundation in Ottobrunn near Munich/Germany. The Energy Watch Group is financed by funds, which flow into the Ludwig-Bölkow Foundation.

The Ludwig-Bölkow Foundation according to its founder Dipl.-Ing. Dr.-Ing E.h. mult. Ludwig Bölkow has given itself the task to take part in the work of research and the planning of long term developments in our technically minded world. By looking far ahead into the future standards should be set for today’s action. This is in the face of the inertia of the basic conversion processes in technology and society no intellectual gimmick, but of existential importance for humanity. The Foundation should currently work out reasoned statements and spread them today - regardless of the details in a tangible form for non-specialists - and so enforce decisions for the coming generations.

Head of the Ludwig Bölkow Foundation is Dr. Werner Zittel, Senior Scientist at LBST GmbH.
